Lasell College got a top individual performance from sophomore Raymon Donis (Raynham, MA) who clocked a 30:43.9 on the course.

Men's Cross Country Finishes 6th at GNAC ChampionshipsOctober 31, 2010STANDISH, ME- Johnson & Wales University won the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Championship for the third consecutive year with 18 points in the 8K event hosted by Saint Joseph’s College on Saturday afternoon. Lasell College finished 6th in the team results, with seven runners recording points at the conference meet.

Three Personal Records Set at Saints InvitationalOctober 16, 2010Boston, MA – On Friday, October 15th, Emmanuel College hosted the 6th Annual Saints Invitational Meet at Franklin Park. Twenty-four colleges and universities were represented by over 300 runners between the men’s and women’s programs. Johnson & Wales University placed three runners in the top five on the men’s side, taking top honors at the race.

Lasell's Miguel Taveras (Lawrence, MA) was the top runner for Lasell, placing 15th individually, leading the Lasers to a 5th place team finish.

Lasers Finish Fourth at Elms College InvitationalSeptember 27, 2010Chicopee, MA-- Two Lasell mens cross country runners placed in the top 25 at the Elms Blazer Invitational on Saturday afternoon, guiding the Lasers to a 4th place finish at Chicopee Memorial State Park. Miguel Taveras (Lawrence, MA) came in 20th place overall and Raymon Donis (Raynham, MA) took home 24th place.

Men's Cross Country Takes 5th Place at Roger Williams InvitationalSeptember 13, 2010Bristol, RI- The Lasell College mens cross country team finished in fifth place at the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Colt State Park. The University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth won the meet with 38 points, while Great Northeast Athletic Conference preseason favorites Johnson & Wales University came in second place overall with 53 points.

Three Rookies Earn Weekly Honors from the GNACSeptember 08, 2010NEWTON, MA-- Three Lasell College first year athletes were honored by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) as Rookie of the Week for their respective sports. David Kananowitz (North Monmouth, ME) earned cross country honors, James Clancy (Chicopee, MA) picked up mens soccer honors, and Jamie Harris (Lynnfield, MA) secured womens soccer honors.

Johnson & Wales Picked to Top the GNAC in Men's Cross CountrySeptember 05, 2010The 2008 and 2009 GNAC Champion, Johnson & Wales University, earned a top rank in this years mens cross country pre-season poll. JWU picked up 47 points in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference coaches poll. Norwich, last years GNAC championship runner-up took a second place finish with 45 points, and Emerson earned a third place finish in coaches poll with 36 points. This years GNAC Championship will take place at St. Josephs College of Maine, on October 30, 2010.

Taveras Earns 3rd Place at 2010 Presidents CupAugust 30, 2010Newton, MA-- The Lasell College men's cross country team finished second and had four top ten finishers at the 2010 President's Cup which was hosted by the Lasers at Cold Spring Park on Saturday. Miguel Taveras (Lawrence, MA) took a third place finish at the race with a time of 18:26 on the 5K course.
