Grellier Field

Lasell University has completed a project to replace and upgrade the turf at Grellier Field. Construction on the project began on Tuesday, April 28, and wwas completed in July 2020.

Grellier Field is the home of three Laser intercollegiate athletic teams – field hockey and men's and women's lacrosse. The field is also used for club sports, such as men's and women's rugby, as well as intramural sports.

The new field will have the appropriate lines inlaid for field hockey and both men's and women's lacrosse games.

Grellier Field was rededicated to Lasell alum and donor, Nancy Curtis Grellier ‘49, on April 1st, 2006. A generous donation by the Grelliers supported the installation of FieldTurf on Grellier Field.  The field received a brand new scoreboard upgrade in March of 2013.

A push button system has been installed at Grellier to turn on the lights. The button is located on the right side, mid-way up the walkway from the parking lot. If the lights are not on, you can push the button and they will come on for about an hour and will then shut off.  The button can be pushed again to turn them back on, but they will automatically go off at 7:00 p.m.  This will be in effect through 12/17.
