The event was held at the Seacoast United Soccer Club's facility in Epping, New Hampshire. Including Lasell, participating teams were St. Joseph's College, Johnson & Wales University, and Rivier College.

Senior forward Dan Hatch (Avon, MA) and junior goalkeeper Matthew Bruninghaus (Plymouth, MA) earned first team honors while senior defender Sean Fisher (Griswold, CT) and freshman midfielder Marcus Lopez (Barrigada, Guam) made the ranks amongst the third team.

Petrin was selected as the Player of the Week while Lewis acquired the Rookie honors.

    NEWTON, MA- The Suffolk University Rams ousted Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) regular season champions Lasell College from the GNAC Men’s Soccer Tournament today in a 2-1 semi-final upset on Taylor Field. The fourth seeded Rams will advance to the finals of the GNAC Tournament on Saturday, November 6th at no. 2 seed Albertus Magnus College. The no. 1 seeded Lasers season comes to a halt pending the announcement of the ECAC Tournament in hopes of a bid to continue post-season play.

    NEWTON, MA- Stephen Petrin (Vernon, CT) broke a 1-1 tie with five minutes left in regulation to give the top seeded Lasell College men’s soccer team a 2-1 win over the eighth seed Johnson & Wales University in the quarter finals of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tournament today on Taylor Field. The victory moves the Lasers (9-7-2) onto the semi-finals which will take place on Tuesday, while the Wildcats complete their season with a 4-12-2 overall record.

The teams put on an exciting show for the near 300 fans that swarmed Grellier Field for Lasell’s Family, Friends, and Alumni Weekend.
