Tia Pratt, a junior midfielder from South Paris, Maine, was chosen as a member of the first team and Sara Jannuzzi, a junior defender from Glen, New Hampshire, was selected to the second team.

With just over one minute elapsed into the second half, the visiting Lyons scored what proved to be the game winning goal followed by a security goal in the final fifteen minutes. Wheaton left triumphant at 4-2.
