MVB: Lasers Come Out on Top of Five Set Match

Newton, MA - The Lasell Men's Volleyball team came out on top of a five setter on Tuesday over GNAC opponent Emerson. The final score was 25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 23-25, 20-18. With the win the Lasers move to 8-8 on the season and 3-1 in GNAC play, while the Lions are now 3-10 and 1-5.

The Lasers were led by Aidan Norris and Theo Zaharewicz, as they had 13 and 12 kilss respectively. They also had a good supporting cast, as four different Lasers had six kills in Ben Villa, Jasper Schultz, Dexter Thomas, and Carter Phillips. Jesus Garcia set most of those up, collecting 44 set assists. Garcia also led the way with 12 digs, securing the double-double. 

Up Next - The Lasers will head to New Jersey on Saturday when they take on reigning national champion Stevens in a tri-match also featuring Stevenson.
