MLAX: Lasers Capture Season Finale Win at Emmanuel

Newton, MA - The Lasell University men's lacrosse team capped off its perfect conference regular season on Wednesday night with a 12–8 win over Emmanuel College at Clemente Field in Boston. With the victory, the Lasers improved to 12–4 overall and a flawless 9–0 in GNAC play.

Lasell set the tone early, holding Emmanuel scoreless in the first quarter and getting on the board with an unassisted goal from Nate Campbell. In the second quarter, the Lasers found their rhythm offensively, outscoring the Saints 4–1 behind goals from Ryan Stone, Sam Guilmette, and a pair from Jack Condon to take a 5–1 lead into halftime. Emmanuel made a push in the third quarter, pulling within two goals at 6–4, but Lasell responded with scores from Colin LeBaron and Jason Martin to regain control. Condon, who led the Lasers with four goals and an assist, struck again in the fourth to keep the momentum alive. Despite a late surge from the Saints, who managed four goals in the final frame, Lasell matched them with four of their own to seal the win. Carson Tucker, Matthew Carbone, and Condon contributed key goals down the stretch.

Michael Catalano had a strong showing in the net, recording 16 saves on 24 shots. Faceoff specialist Matthew Carbone won 16 of 22 draws and added a goal, playing a critical role in possession throughout the game.

Up Next - The Lasers will now head into the GNAC playoffs riding a six-game winning streak and set to host the #4 seed, New England College, on Saturday at 2:30 on Taylor Field.
