Newport, RI - The Lasers split in two non-conference matchups on Saturday, Oct. 27 while on the road against Bates College and Salve Regina University.

Lasell vs. Bates

The Lasers came out strong in the first set, gaining an early lead to defeat Bates 25-15.

Lasell continued to dominate in the second set, maintaining a lead throughout the match and taking the win 25-17.

The third set saw a tighter battle, with a tied 24-24 score late into the set. A McKenna McCool kill would give the Lasers the lead, followed by an attacking error and Laser block to finalize the set with a 26-24 victory

Lasell vs. Salve Regina

The Lasers fell to Salve, losing three sets in a 25-21, 25-17, and 25-22 matchup.

McKenna McCool led the Lasers with 13 kills while Emily VanHouten followed with ten.

Up Next: The Lasers will head on the road again for two GNAC matchups on Saturday, Nov. 2 against Norwich University and Dean College.
