WINTHROP, Mass. - For the fourth consecutive week, freshman Jordan Shinaut of the Lasell University men's volleyball team has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week Monday.

Shinaut compiled a team-high 16 kills for the Lasers (12-7, 6-1 GNAC) during a 3-1 setback to MIT Friday. The 16 kills are one below a career-high for the Peoria, Arizona, native, and it marks the 10th time this season that he has recorded double-digit kills. Shinaut has finished with 15 or more kills six times.

The Lasers will compete against Rivier and Emmanuel at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, on Saturday in Nashua, New Hampshire.
