NEWTON, Mass. (1/28/14) - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference honored Laselll College sophomore Ryan Jackson (Massilon, Ohio) as the GNAC Defensive Player of the Week for his play during the Lasers season opening week. 

Jackson helped the Lasers to a 3-0 record in the matches he played in this week; recording 26 digs in nine sets of action. The sophomore posted a 2.89 digs/set average while helping Lasell go undefeated at the Johnson & Wales tournament.
