Men's Volleyball Gets Split at Bard Invitational

The Lasell College men's volleyball team split two matches at the Bard College Invitational, defeating SUNY IT in the opener before falling to Sage College in the second match. The Lasers are 3-5 overall after gaining a split, and they will face NYU-Poly Saturday February 25th at 11:00am.

Lasell College defeated SUNY IT in the opening match of the evening at Bard College in three sets, 25-17, 25-18, 25-18.Freshman Dan Raffol produced a team high 10 kills and junior Alex Mill added nine kills. Junior Chris Burns led the defensive effort with a team high 11 digs, and freshman setter Matt Dugan collected 29 assists running the Lasers' attack. Matt Dionne, Tim Anderson and Vicenty Ithier each added 5 kills with Dionne also tallying 3 blocks.

After snapping a three match losing streak in their opening match at the Bard College Invitational, Lasell dropped a 3-1 decision against Sage College in four sets, 25-17, 25-10, 23-25, and 25-19. Alex Mill paced the Lasers' attack with 13 kills; Dan Raffol added nine kills and Matt Dionne chipped in with eight kills. Matt Dugan tallied 34 assists, and Chris Burns posted 14 digs in the loss.
