BEVERLY, MA- Eventual ECAC Division III Men's Volleyball North Champion Newbury College defeated Lasell College, 3-0, in the semi-final round of the tournament to conclude their 2011 campaign. The Lasers finished the year with a 22-16 overall record, the best record in program history.

Spencer Parker (Newington, CT) was the top offensive player for Lasell, slamming down 10 kills on 20 attempts for a .350 clip.  Parker also led the team in digs, collecting six in the three set match.

Mike Harrington (Billerica, MA) added eight kills and five blocks for Lasell and Harry Strobel (Westport, CT) put away seven kills, put down two blocks, and picked up four digs.  Alex Mill (Danville, NH) had six kills and five digs and Max Vaughan (Wethersfield, CT) matched five kills with five digs.  Andrew Glenn (Westport, CT) had 34 assists in the match, as well as five digs.
