Glenn Announced as NECVA Conference Rookie of the Week

Andrew Glenn is the NECVA Conference Rookie of the Week after the 6-foot-0 setter, a five-time GNAC Rookie of the Week, helped lead the Lasers to their first GNAC division title match and a berth in the NECVA Tournament for the first time. In five matches over 16 sets he delivered 131 assists, 13 digs, 12 kills and five blocks and averaged 8.19 assists, 1.12 points, 0.81 digs, 0.75 kills and 0.31 blocks per set.

 

In the GNAC Tournament semifinals on March 26, he handed out 40 assists as the Lasers shocked Emmanuel, 3-1. He also had four digs and three kills in the match.

 

In the GNAC finals later that day against Rivier, he provided 26 assists, four digs, four kills (4-1-8, .375) and two blocks in a 3-1 loss to the Raiders.

 

He opened the week on March 22, playing in five of six sets of a doubleheader against Albertus Magnus, finishing with 33 assists. He wrapped up league play on March 24 with 32 assists in a sweep over Emerson.
