BOSTON, MA- Lasell College men's volleyball finished the 2011 regular season with a 3-0 Great Northeast Athletic Conference victory over Emerson College on Thursday night in Boston. Winning by scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-19, the Lasers complete the regular season with a 21-13 slate and an 8-4 GNAC record.
Micah Aiu (Honolulu, HI) put away 10 kills in the final match of the season for a contest-high performance. Harry Strobel (Westport, CT) added nine more kills and Spencer Parker (Newington, CT) tallied seven. Max Vaughan (Wethersfield, CT) picked up six kills, complimented by a team-best six digs.
Andrew Glenn (Westport, CT) secured 32 assists in the three set match, while adding three digs an two service aces.
The Lasers will compete in the GNAC Tournament on Saturday, March 26th as the no. 3 seed facing no. 2 seeded Emmanuel College at 1:00 p.m. at Rivier College.
