Men's Volleyball Runs the Gamut in GNAC Weekly Honors for 2nd Straight Week

For the second week in a row, the Lasell College men's volleyball team has swept the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player and Rookie of the Week awards.  Sophomore outside hitter Spencer Parker (Newington, CT) was named Player of the Week and freshman setter Andrew Glenn (Westport, CT) took the rookie honors.

In a two match week for the Lasers, Parker was selected after producing 31 kills, 21 digs, and four blocks as Lasell went unbeaten.  Parker averaged 4.4 kills per set and three digs per set, while hitting 32.1% against Mount Ida and New Haven.

Glenn averaged 11 assists and 2.28 digs per set this week in the seven total games.  He totaled 77 helpers and 16 digs.

This is Parker's second time being selected for a GNAC honor this season, and Glenn's fourth time.
