BROOKLINE, MA- Sophomore outside hitter Spencer Parker (Newington, CT) put away 14 kills and added 10 digs and freshman setter Andrew Glenn (Westport, CT) handed out 29 assists and collected 13 digs but it was not enough for the Lasell College men's volleyball team to take down Newbury College as the Nighthawks picked up a 3-1 win over the Lasers on Monday night.

Newbury took a 1-0 set advantage after a 25-21 game to open the non-conference action.  Lasell returned in set two to even the match with a 25-19 win.  Though the games remained tight in the final sets, the Nighthawks sealed the match with victories in set three and four, 25-19 and 26-24.
