NEWTON, MA- Freshman setter Andrew Glenn (Westport, CT) has been honored as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men's volleyball Rookie of the Week for the second time in just three weeks since the season began.
Glenn debuted as the GNAC Rookie of the Week on January 18th, and has now recurred as the top recruit in the conference after opening conference play this past week. Glenn averaged over 11 assists per set in his first GNAC appearance on Friday against Emerson College. He finished the match with 34 helpers, seven digs, two kills and a block.
So far this season, Glenn has already distributed 308 assists, averaging over eight helpers per game. He is also third on the team defensively, picking up 1.47 digs per set.
The Lasers are back in action on Wednesday, February 9th at 7:00 p.m. at Emmanuel College.
