Lasell dropped in three games to the top ranked Raiders of Rivier College on Thursday evening, 30-18, 30-22, 30-22.  The Lasers are now 14-8 on the season and 7-3 in the GNAC. 

Dustin Foster (Ashford, Conn.) was the top attacker for the Lasers, putting down 7 kills on 17 attempts in the middle.  Foster hit a .412 clip for the evening, leading the way in the three sets for Lasell.  Defensively, Foster also came up with two solo and two assisted blocks against the Raiders.

Dave Rogers (Belchertown, Mass.) also had a strong night for Lasell, notching five kills in 15 swings, while also picking up nine digs.  Freshman Trevor Foster (Ashford, Conn.) matched Rogers with five kills, and added three solo blocks in the middle, and one assisted. 

Freshman setter Brendan McGourn (Southington, Conn.) put up 24 assists in the defeat.

The Lasers are tied with Emmanuel College in the second slot of the GNAC at the moment, each having taken a match from the other on the opposite's home court.
