MLAX: Lasers Overpower Amcats 14-4

Newton, MA - The Lasell University men's lacrosse team has been hot as of late, winners of three in a row by an average margin of 12. They continued this on Wednesday afternoon as they picked up another GNAC win over Anna Maria 14-4 and improved to 5-1 in conference. 

Ryan Stone and Jack Condon have been a deadly duo for the Lasers as they each put in two first period goals in this one. Sam Guilmette and Finnegan McCormick also added scores establishing a 6-0 lead through the first 15 minutes. In the second period, Anna Maria's Nick Hussa desposited three goals for the Amcats, but the Lasers matched this with three of their own and held a 9-3 halftime lead. The third quarter was all Lasers once again as Ryan Stone added his fourth goal on the day and Jason Martin, Francis Pino, and Will McCarthy each added scores. Going into the final minutes, Carson Tucker would be the final Laser to score and they took the home victory 14-4. 

Ryan Stone's four goals led the way for the Lasers with Jack Condon also netting three and adding an asssist. Finnegan McCormack had a game-high three assists to go along with a score and Matthew Carbone totalled 10 ground balls.

Up Next - The Lasers will travel to Mitchell College on Saturday afternoon playing at 12 PM.
