For the final week of Great Northeast Athletic Conference men's lacrosse competition, Lasell College's Dylan Fernandes (Billerica, MA) and Eric Walsh (Weymouth, MA) were selected for GNAC Rookie and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively.

Fernandes, who was just released as the GNAC Rookie of the Year, earned his second weekly honor after an outstanding semi-final game against Norwich during which he scored six points, tallying five goals and one assist en route to Lasell's first ever conference post-season victory.  Fernandes was named to the All-Tournament team in the GNAC Finals.

Walsh, a second team all-conference honoree, made 16 saves against Norwich in the semi-final contest and then made 10 stops against eventual GNAC Champion Mount Ida in the finals.  He was also named GNAC All-Tournament for his efforts. This is Walsh's fourth Goalkeeper of the Week honor for the 2011 season.
