Coming off an incredible junior year, Lasell College’s goalkeeper Elizabeth Stickley received an Honorable Mention from the association.

Lasell Women's Soccer Falls to No. 9 Williams in NCAA Tournament
November 13, 2010WALTHAM, MA -The Williams College Ephs women’s soccer team knocked the Lasell College Lasers from the 2010 NCAA Tournament with a 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon on Marcus Field at Brandeis University. The Ephs and Lasers battled through a 0-0 tie for over 68 minutes before the NCAA Division III 9th ranked team in the country scored the game-decider, at 68:49.

Junior Elizabeth Stickley (Mashpee, MA) received the Goalkeeper of the Week award while freshman Jamie Harris (Lynnfield, MA) received the Player and Rookie of the Week accolades.

NCAA DIII WOMEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCED
November 08, 2010NEWTON, MA- The Lasell College women's soccer team will face Williams College (12-3-2) in the 2010 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament, hosted at Brandeis University on Saturday, November 13th. Announcements and full bracket for the tournament was announced Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. eastern time. Time for the NCAA Tournament game has yet to be released.

November 06, 2010NEWTON, MA – The Lasell College women’s soccer team is bound for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history after defeating Norwich University, 1-0, in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship match on Saturday afternoon at Taylor Field. Freshman forward, and co-tournament MVP, Jamie Harris (Lynnfield, MA) tallied the deciding goal for the Lasers to seal their first ever GNAC Championship.

November 03, 2010NEWTON, MA- Six Lasell College women’s soccer players earned spots on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference teams for the 2010 season. Laser goalkeeper Elizabeth Stickley (Mashpee, MA) and midfielder Jordynn Frollo (Uxbridge, MA) took first team honors, forward Jamie Harris (Lynnfield, MA) and defender Molly Clarke (Berlin, CT) were selected on the second team, and defender Meredith Hessler (Middletown, RI) and midfielder Allyson Bushey (Westminster, MA) took places on the third team.

Lasers Finish 2nd in GNAC; Remain Undefeated at Home
October 28, 2010NEWTON, MA- Sophomore Reegan Brackett (Scarborough, ME) and freshman Sam Peck (Woodbury, CT) paired up for the solo goal of the contest which sealed up the Lasell College women’s soccer team victory over Johnson & Wales University on Thursday afternoon at Taylor Field. With the win, Lasell locked up second place overall in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference with an 11-3-3 overall and an 8-2-2 GNAC record. In the defeat, Johnson & Wales finishes 6th in the league with an 8-10-1 overall and a 6-5-1 GNAC slate.

Double Overtime Tussle Ends in Deadlock
October 16, 2010Newton, MA— The Lasell College women’s soccer team pulled ahead of Albertus Magnus late in Saturday afternoon’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest before the visiting Falcons scored in the 71st minute to even the contest, 2-2. Despite two overtime sessions, the teams parted the field in a tie in front of an impressive crowd of over 200 fans during Family, Friends, and Alumni Weekend. The Falcons return home with a 9-6-1 overall and 6-3-1 GNAC record and the Lasers’ finished the day with an 8-3-2 overall and 5-2-2 league slate.
