The Lasers' women's cross country team delivered a strong performance, securing 3rd place with 64 points. Ella Meeker led the charge, finishing 1st overall with a time of 25:10.23, which is over a minute earlier than the second place finalist. With this performance Meeker secured a spot as the fourth fastest 6k time in program history.
Kat Kohtala followed in 13th place with a time of 30:33.16, while Caitlyn Boston was close behind in 14th at 30:34.57.
The men's team finished 4th with 106 points. Amill Houston led the men, finishing 14th with a time of 35:09.21. Dawens Germain was 18th at 36:20.71, Michael Curran placed 26th with a time of 38:25.75, Jordan Woodley came in 34th at 41:59.69, and Evan Lewis rounded out the group in 35th place with a time of 42:02.34.
Up Next: The Lasers will head to UMass Dartmouth this weekend to compete.
