NEWTON, Mass. (10/31/15) –  Lasell College finished 7^th overall at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's cross country championships in Standish, Maine on Saturday afternoon at Saint Joseph's College.

Freshman Selena Colon (Hartsdale, N.Y.) finished her first race on the Monk's territory at 22:03 to take the top spot for the Lasers. Senior Jaime Russo (Watertown, Mass.) erased 13 seconds from her previous race at Saint Joe's, and clocked in at 22:27 to place 31^st overall.

Senior Rachel Knuth (Warwick, N.Y.) and junior Elizabeth Bennett (Warwick, R.I.) deadlocked at 25:15 each, while sophomore Shannon Hart (Mashpee, Mass.) rounded out the race for Lasell at 26:44.
