Newton, MA- Junior setter Sydey Katz was selected as this past weeks GNAC Setter of the Week. 

Katz was a key contributor in the Lasers' 3-1 week, totaling 97 assists, 32 digs, and six service aces across four matches.

Katz started strong on Wednesday (Oct. 23) with 24 assists, nine digs, and three aces in a 3-0 sweep over Mitchell. She continued Friday (Oct. 25) with 28 assists and six digs as the Lasers swept Saint Joseph's College 3-0. Katz then notched a double-double on Saturday (Oct. 26) with 24 assists and 10 digs in a 3-0 win against Bates, before rounding out the week with 21 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 loss to Salve Regina.

Katz currently ranks third in the GNAC for total assists (551) and fifth in service aces (53).
