PROVIDENCE, RI- The Lasers earned a GNAC win at Johnson & Wales in a 3-0 sweep on Wednesday night, making them 8-0 in conference play.

The Wildcats came out strong in the first set, earning a four-point lead before the Lasers would get on the scoreboard.

The Lasers would continue to trail the Wildcats until a seven-point run would make it a one-point set. The two teams battled in a tight matchup when a Juliana Medini kill would tie the game followed by a service ace by Madeline Caro to give Lasell the lead.

A final kill by Emily Vanhouten would solidify the victory for the Lasers in the first set.

The Lasers took an early lead in the second set, earning a 24-14 victory over the Wildcats.

After a tight matchup in the third set, an Andrea Aceituno kill would tie the set 25-25 before two service aces by Morgan Bogli would win the set, earning the 3-0 win for the Lasers.

Up Next: The Lasers will head to Union, N.J. for two non-conference games against Kean University and Widener University on Saturday, Oct. 19.
