NEWTON, MA. - The Lasers split in two non-conference matchups against Pratt Institue and Suffolk University at home Saturday, Oct. 12.

Lasell vs. Pratt

The Lasers took a three-set sweep over Pratt, defeating the Cannoneers 25-10, 25-14, and 25-13.

Tori Scambray would lead the Lasers with nine kills, while Juliana Medini and Madalyn Scully would each have five.

Emily Cerasani would lead the Lasers in assists with 13, and Sydney Katz would closely follow with 12 assists on the game.

Lasell vs. Suffolk

In their second game, the Lasers would battle in a five-set matchup but fall short to the Rams.

After taking the victory on the first set 25-16, the Lasers would trail in the next two sets in a tight matchup. Lasell would take the victory in the fourth set 26-24 but fell short in the final set, for a 3-2 loss on the game.
