
Newton, MA. - The Lasers collected their ninth straight win on Tuesday night in a GNAC matchup against the Sharks of Simmons University.
The Sharks came out early putting the first three points on the board in the first set before a McKenna McCool kill would open the scoring for Lasell.
The Lasers continued to battle the Sharks in a tight matchup, taking the first set 25-23.
The second set was a tight battle, tying the scoring 4-4 before a five-point run by the Lasers would give them the advantage. The Sharks continued to trail the Lasers, ending the set 25-11.
Lasell set the tone early in the third, starting the scoring early with a two-point lead. The Sharks would continue to battle, but the Lasers would ultimately take the set 25-19 for a three-set win over Simmons.
Up Next: The Lasers will compete at home on Saturday, Oct. 12 for two non-conference matchups against Pratt at 11:00am and Suffolk at 3:00pm. The Lasers will be celebrating Senior Day before their 11am matchup.
