WVB: Lasers Dominate in Three Straight Sets

Newton, MA- Lasell hosted Regis College for a GNAC matchup, dominating the Regis Pride and securing the win in three straight sets. 

Lasell set the tone early, with impressive kills from Tori Scambray and McKenna McCool, alongside effective serves from Sydney Katz. The team capitalized on Regis' errors, racing to a 25-14 win.

The second set was more competitive, with Regis making a strong push. Key plays from Avery Mola and Ayla Albers kept Regis in the game, tying the score multiple times. However, Lasell's Emily VanHouten, along with Scambray and McCool, led the charge to secure the set 25-22.

Regis fought hard in the final set, initially taking the lead. Yet, Lasell rallied back, with crucial plays from VanHouten and Scambray. The set concluded at 25-18 in favor of Lasell, sealing the match.

Up Next: The Lasers are back on the court this Thursday evening with another GNAC matchup, this time against Saint Joseph's (Maine).
