Norton, MA- The Lasers fell to the Lyons of Wheaton College during a three-set matchup on Wednesday night on the road.
The Lyons quickly established dominance in the first set, taking an early lead and finishing 25-12, despite a strong kill from Mckenna McCool that marked Lasell's first points.
In the second set, Lasell stepped up their offense, trailing closely until the Lyons pulled away for a 25-19 win. The final set was hard-fought, with both teams battling it out, but the Lyons ultimately clinched the match with a 27-25 victory.
Morgan Bogli led the Lasers with six kills, while Trinity Silva contributed with six assists.
Up next: The Lasers head to Rivier University for an 11:00am conference matchup against the home team followed by a 1:00pm conference game against Albertus Magnus.
