Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers continued their historic start to the season with their second win over Western New England on the season. Just like the first match, the Lasers took this one 3-1, winning 25-11, 25-15, 20-15, 25-11. The Lasers are now 11-1 while the Golden bears are 6-5. The win was the Lasers' ninth consecutive, tying a program record set by the 2005 team.

As has been the case all season, it was a balanced attack by the Lasers, led by McKenna McCool's 11 kills. Juliana Medini was right behind her with 10 kills herself. Then there was Camila Lopez with eight. Sydnet Katz had 19 set assists.

Defensively, Maddie Caro led the way with 16 digs, followed by Isabelle Borowinski who had 12. Medini also factored in on the defensive side of things, posting seven total blocks (two solo, five assists).

Up Next - The Lasers will host a GNAC tri-match on Saturday, first taking on Anna Maria at 11am, and the USJ at 3pm.
