WVB: Lasers Continue Hot Streak

Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers Women's Volleyball team won their fifth consecutive match on Tuesday, defeating Southern Maine in straight sets by a score of 25-21, 25-19, 25-16. The Lasers are now 7-1 on the season while the Huskies are 3-6.

The Lasers were led on offense by McKenna McCool, as they have been all season. She had 10 kills. Behind her was Emily VanHouten, Tori Scambray, and Juliana Medini, who had six, five, and four kills respectfully. Sydney Katz recorded her third consecutive double-double, putting up 16 set assists and 18 digs. She was one of four Lasers to record double digit digs, with Maddie Caro (17), VanHouten (13), and Scambray (10).

Up next - The Lasers will kick off their GNAC play on Thursday when they travel to Saint Joseph's (Maine) for a 6pm start.
