Boston, MA - The Lasell Track and Field team competed in the Tufts Invitational on Saturday, with a total of 10 PRs set.

On the mens side of things, Patrick Carbone set a PR in the 3000m with a time of 10:06.92. Elsewhere around the track, Luke Bullock and Evan Lewis each set PRs in their events, the 1000m and 600m, with times of 3:03.33 and 1:34.04 respectively. In the field, Nathaniel Gonzalez tied his PR in the high jump with a mark of 1.80m, while Alex McFarlane posted a new PR in the weight throw with a mark of 7.94m.

For the women, the Lasers starred in the shot put, with three different Lasers setting PRs. Erika Oldham set a new indoor PR at 9.05m, while Savannah Werner and Jenna Sargent each set overall PRs with marks of 8.54m and 8.45m each. The other succesful event for the Lasers was the 1000m race, as Emily Varga and Mikayla Bokis each set new PRs, with times of 4:02.19 and 4:19.49 respectively.

Up next - The Lasers will compete at Boston University for a two day meet next week on Friday and Saturday.
