NEWTON, Mass. (12/12/13) - The Lasell College women's track and field team kicked off their 2013-14 schedule at UMass-Boston on Saturday December 7th. Jamie Russo was the top overall finisher for Lasell in the meet, placing 12th in the 800M run with a time of 2:40.52.

In the 60M dash freshmen Tatyana George (8.64) placed 44th followed by Ayumi Ranucci (8.74) in 47th, Briana Wrubleski (9.07) finished 64th, Melissa Cooley (9.14) was 70th, Leah Pappalardo (9.15) placed 72nd followed by Talia Gabriel (9.22), Bethany McNulty (9.63), Brianna Robbins  (9.79) and Kelly Pigott (9.89). 

Melissa Cooley (29.45) was the top finisher for Lasell in the 200M dash, finishing 74th. Ayumi Ranucci (30.53) was next for the Lasers, followed by Leah Pappalardo (31.06), Briana Wrubleski (31.64) and Kelly Pigott (34.42).  

Chelsea Zeig placed 14th in the shot put with a throw of 10.29 meters, and Brianna Robbins threw 7.70 meters in the shot put and posted a distance of 3.74 meters in the long jump.
