Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers Women's Soccer team defeated Colby-Sawyer on Monday by a final score of 2-1. With the win, the Lasers locked up the #3 seed in the GNAC playoffs. The Lasers are now 11-5-2 overall, and 10-3-2 in GNAC play, while the Chargers are 11-6-3 and 10-4-1.

The Lasers opened the scoring in the 26th minute when Evelyn DiFiore scored off of a cross from Camdyn Lamarre. The Chargers then tied things up less than three minutes later. The game would be 1-1 at halftime.

The Lasers would come out and take the lead again quickly in the second half, as Julia Vaillancourt scored just three minutes into the half. Neither team would score again, giving the Lasers the 2-1 victory.

Lataya Simmons picked up her 10th win of the season, making two saves in net.
