WSOC: Lasers Lose Tough Game to Pride

Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers fell to the Regis Pride on Wednesday. With the loss the Lasers drop to 9-5-2 and 8-3-2 in GNAC play. The Pride are now 7-4-4 and 6-3-4 in GNAC play.

The Pride wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, scoring in the 4th minute of the game. After that the rest of the half was quiet with neither team being able to score. The Lasers had a few opportunities but could not capitalize.

The second half was no different with both teams battling hard trying to score and it was an own goal from the Lasers that put the Pride up 2-0 in the 74th minute. The Pride would again score in the 88th minute giving them a 3-0 lead. The Lasers would keep fighting and earn a penalty kick in the 89th minute which was converted by Michelina D'Agostino.

Up Next - The Lasers are back in action on Saturday as they head to Paxton, MA to face the AMCATS of Anna Maria.
