Newton, Mass. 12/16/12) - Lasell College sophomore Bridget Lynch (Dover, N.H.) added another accolade to her already successful second season in the women's soccer program. Lynch was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference All-New England team, marking the first time in the women's soccer program's history that a Laser player has been honored.
The sophmore forward finished with 24 goals and 6 assists in 21 matches while earning Great Northeast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors. Lynch netted a pair of hat-tricks during the season, and had eight multi-goal performances.
Her record setting campaign was a part of the women's soccer team's run to their third consecutive GNAC championship, and their first round NCAA tournament upset over nationally ranked Amherst College.
