Newton, Mass. (12/5/12) - Lasell College forward Bridget Lynch (Dover, N.H.) continued earning accolades following her outstanding sophomore campaign. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America named Lynch as a member of the All-New England Second Team.
Lynch's 2012 campaign was one of the best individual season's in the history of the women's soccer program. She set the single season record for goals scored with 24, became the first GNAC Offensive Player of the Year in the history of the women's soccer program, and helped her team set several new firsts for the program.
The 2012 women's soccer team finished 15-5-1, became the first program to win three straight GNAC tournament titles, and became the first program in Lasell history to win a game in the NCAA tournament when they defeated Amherst College 3-1.
