Stickley Tabbed GNAC Goalie of the Week for Second Time this Season

NEWTON, MA—Senior goalkeeper Elizabeth Stickley (Mashpee, MA) has been recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) for the second time this season as the Goalkeeper of the Week for her outstanding contributions in a 2-0 week for Lasell.

The Lasers are on an eight-game winning streak due in large part to the play of Stickley between the pipes.  Stickley has recorded four shutouts in those eight games, including two solo shutouts this week against Emmanuel (3-0) and Simmons (4-0).  In those two contests, Stickley made a combined 13 saves, averaging 6.5 per match.   The pair of victories kept Lasell unbeaten in the GNAC so far this season (6-0).

This season Stickley is boasting a 0.76 GAA and a .873 save percentage. She is ranked 1st in the GNAC in both of those categories and is also ranked 43rd amongst all Division III NCAA goalkeepers in save percentage and 70th in GAA.  Stickley has made 48 stops this season and has an 8-2-0 overall record.
