NEWTON, MA-  The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced the 2010 recipients for Division III All-New England Honors on Monday afternoon.  Coming off an incredible junior year, Lasell College's goalkeeper Elizabeth Stickley received an Honorable Mention from the association.

Three teams of 11 recipients and four honorable mentions were selected from throughout the New England Region.  Stickley was the sole women's soccer player from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to receive recognition from NEWISA.

Stickley, a product of Mashpee, Massachusetts, has been no stranger to recognition since entering Lasell in 2008.  A three-time GNAC All-Conference honoree, Stickley was selected as a first team member in 2010, as well as the GNAC Tournament co-MVP.  This season, she recorded three shutouts in the post-season tournament en route to Lasell's first ever GNAC Women's Soccer Championship as well as their first trip to the NCAA tournament.  The veteran net minder was also dubbed "Goalkeeper of the Week" three times by the GNAC and "New England co-Defensive Player of the Week" once by the ECAC. 

Overall in 2010, Stickley finished the season with a 9-4-1 record and a 6-2-1 conference slate, including five individual and two shared shutouts. She wrapped up the year logging 1,184 minutes in the Lasers' net, allowing just 12 goals all season, while collecting 71 saves and producing an .855 save percentage and a .91 goals against average.  Amongst all NCAA Division III women's soccer statistical leaders, Stickley ranks 24^th in save percentage and 57^th in GAA. 

Collectively, in her three year career with the Lasers, Stickley has amassed a record of 23-12-4, spending over 3,500 minutes between the pipes.  She currently holds two all-time program records at Lasell taking the top honors in most career-wins (23) and most career shutouts (10) and has set the stage to break a few more before her final farewell.
