Newton, Mass.-  Elizabeth Stickley of the Lasell College women's soccer team was named Goalkeeper of the Week by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. 

Stickley, a native of Mashpee, Massachusetts, was selected for honor for the first time this season after turning away nine shots from the Lasers net against GNAC rivals Saint Joseph's College of Connecticut in a 2-1 win last week.   Stickley earned a .900 save percentage for the game, allowing just one goal to slip by.

Stickley has had a fantastic sophomore season, playing in all eight contests and making 50 saves along the way for Lasell.   The second year athlete is currently ranked 2^nd in the GNAC for save percentage, for which she boasts a .820.  She also ranks in the top ten of the league for saves (7^th- 50 saves), saves per game (5^th- 6.25 per game), and shutouts (tied for 1^st with two shutouts).
