The Lasell College women's soccer program held the first annual Lasell College Lasers Girls Soccer Clinic during the week of August 18th-20th on Taylor Field at the Newton, Massachusetts campus. The clinic was run by the Lasers head women's soccer coach Vito LaFrancesca and assistant coach Jim Swift.
LaFrancesca had a great response to the inaugural clinic, with thirty one committed high school athletes attending the four day program. The clinic is designed to focus on soccer conditioning, techniques, and tactics, while teaching those concepts in an exciting way to prepare for the upcoming season.
"I feel extremely positive about the response we received and about what we accomplished by the conclusion of the clinic," said LaFrancesca. "This is an event I look forward to running again in the future as we continue to build great soccer traditions here at Lasell."
