McGEOY STRIKES AND LASERS NAB 1-0 WIN

Lasell College nabbed a 1-0 win over Lesley University on Thursday evening.  The Lasers only goal was scored by freshman defender Liz McGeoy (Doylestown, PA).  This was McGeoy's second game winning goal of the 2008 season, and third total goal.

McGeoy scored at 19:02, after locating a loose ball in front of the Lynx net, and guiding it past Lesley's keeper, Hailee Lowe (Hamilton, MA).

The Lasers took fourteen total shots, including 5 on goal, while the Lynx took twenty one shots, with 9 on goal.  McGeoy produced two of those shots on goal for Lasell, and Jordynn Frollo (Uxbridge, MA) came away with the other three opportunities.

Senior Jamie Remmers (West Islip, NY) played a strong game in goal for Lasell.  Remmers had 9 saves in the ninety minute match, and established her third shutout over the past four games.

The Lasers will play their second to last regular season home game on Saturday, October 25th.  The Wildcats of Wheelock College will challenge the hosting Lasers at noon, on Taylor Field.
