Newton, MA- After defeating Fitchburg state with a convincing final score of 13-8, Lasers Joy Sayah and Alice Rourke were named GNAC Goalie and Rookie of the Week, respectively. 

Junior goalkeeper Joy Sayah was stellar at the net for the Lasers as the Rockland, Mass. native faced 21 shots and stopped 13 of them, posting a save percentage of 61.9% while collecting the victory over Fitchburg State.

First-year midfielder Alice Rourke played a pivotal role offensively for the Lasers as the Norwich, Conn. native collected four goals on eight shot attempts (50.0%) and winning four draw controls in the process in the 13-8 Lasell victory.
