NEWTON, Mass. (3/28/17) – Taylor Yandow (Moretown, Vt.) snagged her second straight Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's lacrosse player of the week honors, as announced on Monday afternoon by the conference office.

Yandow earned her second weekly honor – and Lasell women's lacrosse's third overall – with a heavy stat line of eight goals (8pts), 12 ground balls, 12 draw controls, and 11 caused turnovers.

The junior midfielder scored two hat tricks en route to the Lasers' 1-1 outing, reaching her fifth of the season in Lasell's GNAC opener. In a 14-13 setback, at Gordon, Yandow scored five goals, going 2-for-4 from the free position attempt, while snatching six draw controls. She continued her dominance in the center circle with six draws in the conference victory against Emmanuel, and scored three goals with nine ground balls and nine caused turnovers.

The Lasers' leading scorer currently sits atop the GNAC in draw controls, with 47 combined this season.

Lasell dives into the latter part of their schedule, all of which are conference games, on Saturday, April 1 at Simmons College at 11:00 a.m.
