GNAC Names Yandow As Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

NEWTON, Mass. (3/20/17) – Junior Taylor Yandow (Moretown, Vt.) of the Lasell College women's lacrosse team has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) player of the week, as announced Monday afternoon by the conference office. 

In the latter of two contests this week for the Lasers, Yandow become the 10th player to surpass the 100-goal plateau, scoring on a free position shot with 14 seconds left in the first half at Emerson. Collectively, Yandow scored five goals in the setback against the Lions, and previously tallied four in a 15-5 victory at Nichols.

The leading scorer additionally grabbed 12 draw controls – adding to her team-best 35, a conference-leading statistic – with six ground balls, four assists, and four caused turnovers. Yandow currently sits second in goals scored (16), assists (8) and points (24).

Yandow and the Lasers return to non-conference action on the road on tomorrow at Gordon College with draw control set for 4:00 p.m.
