NEWTON, Mass. (3/13/17) -- Sophomore Vanessa Pino (Methuen, Mass.) of the Lasell College women's lacrosse team was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday.

Pino was the Lasers' offensive leader in their only game of the week, last Thursday's 18-11 win over Curry. The Central Catholic High School product scored six times and added an assist for seven points. She also recorded two draw controls in the contest.

The 3-1 Lasers return home to face Emerson on Saturday, March 18 at 12:00 p.m.
