Brecher Reaches 100 Career Goals for Women's Lacrosse

NEWTON, Mass. (4/17/14) – Lasell College junior Caitlyn Brecher has reached the 100 goal plateau in her women's lacrosse career. The Cheshire, Connecticut native scored reached the milestone with 18 minutes left in the Lasers 24-12 victory at Mount Ida College when she scored her fifth goal of the game. Brecher tallied 20 goals during her freshmen season, then added 40 last year as a sophomore while helping Lasell to their first-ever NCAA tournament appearance in GNAC title in women's lacrosse.

Brecher finished her sophomore campaign with 51 points, scoring 40 goals and tallying 11 assists after scoring 20 goals and handing out six assists during her freshmen season. Brecher became the 7th player in the program history to record 100 goals in their career.
