NEWTON, Mass. (3/18/14) – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference named Lasel College senior Britney Wuorio (Bolton, Mass.) as the conference's Player of the Week for her performance in the Lasers past two games. Wuorio helped Lasell to a 1-1 week, scoring eight goals and dishing out five assists for the week. She finished with four goals and two assists in a loss at Bridgewater State before tallying four goals and three assists in the Lasers 19-12 victory over Nichols College. Wuorio put 12 of her 14 shots on goal, while scoring on 57% of her shooting attempts and converting her only free position attempt on the week.

Wuorio has 27 points thus far through five games, tallying 16 goals and accounting for 11 assists.
