Newton, Mass. (4/1/13) - Lasell College freshmen Sammy Long (Staten Island, N.Y.) was honored by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference for the second consecutive week as the league's Goalkeeper of the Week. The rookie netminder helped Lasell to a pair of conference victories over Norwich and Mount Ida.

Long made 15 saves on the week, while posting a goals against average of 6.0 and a save percentage of 55.6%. She has a record of 7-2 on the season, and boasts the second lowest goals against average of any goalie in the conference this season.
