Women's Lacrosse Earns #2 Seed in New England ECAC Playoffs

The Lasell College women's lacrosse team will take their 15-3 overall record into the ECAC New England Playoffs, as the second seed. The Lasers will have a semifinal match-up with the Smith College Pioneers, out of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference, on Saturday May 12th at Wheaton College at 3pm. The third seeded Pioneers finished 9-8 overall, and 2-4 in the NEWMAC.

Lasell will be coming off of a two week layoff, having last played in the GNAC championship game on April 28th, falling at Norwich University. Despite the layoff, the Lasers are looking forward to getting back on the field and having a chance to continue the best season in program history.

"We're very pleased to be heading to the ECAC playoffs for the second season in a row. Getting to the postseason in back-to-back years is a nice accomplishment and it gives us a chance to continue to grow our program." said women's lacrosse coach Cait Connolly.
