Logan Carr (Saratoga Springs, NY), who proved to be the Saints biggest contributor on the scoreboard scoring half of the teams' goals, netted a hat trick for the visitors in a six minute period between 19:15 and 12:59.  Carr was just once interrupted by Lasell's Tina Canavan (Stonington, CT) who capped her three-goal game with a solo attack of her own at 17:44.  Canavan would finish the game with four points, chipping in with a helper on Wourio's third marker, a man-down goal, at 6:41.

The hosts closed out the first half with a 6-0 run through eight minutes which included three man-down goals by Wuorio, Kudla and Rebecca Stanton (Agawam, MA).  At halftime, Lasell sat comfortably with a 14-4 lead.

Lasell's extra-man offense scored 21 seconds into the second period, with credit going to Jen Lemoine (Trumbull, CT) off the stick of Wourio for the first of two assists for the freshman.   Gertonson completed her hat trick with goals in the 27th and 17th minutes of the period and Lemoine and April McGrath (WIllow Grove, PA) brought about the final score with additional goals in the final ten minutes of the game.

Michaela Brennan (Worcester, MA) and Leahy also netted and unassisted goal each in the second half for Emmanuel.  Leahy added three ground balls and three draw controls while Brennan also had three ground balls a game-best three caused turnovers.  Carr also won the draw three times and picked up three ground balls.

Goalkeeper HIllary Dundurant (Merrimac, MA) was hit with the loss, making nine saves against the Lasers potent offense which fired off 28 shots-on-goal in the game.
